A new era is starting at PresMed Australia, where long-time head of finance Feng Neal has decided to retire and enjoy time off with her family.
Ms Feng, who spent over 20 years with the day surgical hospitals group, has relinquished her role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
She is succeeded by Annette Abrahams, who has 15 years' experience in the healthcare industry.
"I'm very excited about coming on board at PresMed Australia," said Ms Abrahams, who was CFO for Cura Day Hospitals Group from 2011-19 after three years as its financial controller.
"This is a company that I know offers excellent patient care and clinical outcomes – our specialist staff really take the time to look after each and every one of our patients," she added.
"As a business, PresMed Australia is moving forward every day and I am enthusiastic about being a part of that."
Founded in 1997, PresMed specialises in the investment, commissioning and operation of day hospitals.
It recently extended its portfolio to 10 facilities across Australia with the acquisition of Canberra Microsurgery (CMS),a state-of-the-art ophthalmic day hospitalwith four theatres.
PresMed's co-founder and Managing Director, Marc Resnik, said he was delighted to welcome CMS to the group, which has more than 160 accredited surgeons and over 200 staff.
"We are incredibly excited about this opportunity as it supports PresMed's mission to deliver leading healthcare services all across Australia," he said.
