Sydney Adventist Hospital staff are putting the pedal to the metal to raise vital funds for charity.
New South Wales' largest private hospital – also known as the San – is again entering a team in the Bobbin Head Cycle Classic, of which it is also a sponsor.
Adventist HealthCare CEO Brett Goods, a keen cyclist, said he was looking forward to participating in the fundraiser.
"I am delighted that we have a strong team of doctors and hospital staff participating in this much-loved annual community cycling event," he said.
San staff will not just be donning lycra and cycling in the multi-distance event, which in its 13 years has grown to become one of Sydney's most iconic charity rides.
"The San is also proud to once again partner with 'The Bobbo' and provide emergency staff at first aid stations at different points along the course," Mr Goods said.
The San Cyclists team will join thousands of other riders on Sunday 24 March to raise funds for Lifeline, the Australian charity that provides 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services.
Riders who take part can challenge themselves across four distances, ensuring there is a course for every ability.
