Sinead Dyer - West Leederville Private Hospital

Monday 16th December, 2024

Sinead Dyer, 38, has been a Registered Nurse at Cura Group's West Leederville Private Hospital in Perth for seven years.

What's the best part about your job?

The people I work with.

What is something about your job that not many people know about, and what would surprise other people about working in a private hospital?

The opportunity to do different roles. I currently work in admissions in the ward area, and second-stage recovery. There is a lot of opportunity to learn and develop into many different roles.

What do you love about working in a private hospital?

The close relationships between staff, patients, and VMOs (Visiting Medical Officers). It's very personal and we're able to provide quality care and always have time for patients.

What do you like to do outside of work and/or what is something your colleagues don't know about you?

I play hockey, run, and am a real foodie. Western Australia produces some of the best food!

What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?

Always be kind.
