The APHA's submission to the Australian Government's Draft CARE Telehealth Principles notes the importance of telehealth services during natural disasters, health epidemics, and other events that disrupt how Australians work and engage with each other.
But we are also cognisant of the need to better delineate the various clinical, safety, commercial and legal aspects of providing telehealth services and where appropriate, set guardrails.
