APHA Board Meeting

Drawn from the APHA Council, the Board holds its first meeting of 2026 in Sydney.

The Board has responsibility for the strategic direction of the organisation, including:

• Oversight of the APHA annual budget;
• Setting and implementing the priorities for the Association, as well as agreeing on courses of action in implementing the Strategic Plan in accordance with agreed policy imperatives;
• Establishing Committees and Taskforces;
• Receiving advice from Committees and the Secretariat; and
• Appointing the Chief Executive Officer.
