APHA and CHA's joint call on the Federal Government to legislate to force private health insurers to pass on a minimum 90% of premiums to private hospitals, to restore pre-Covid funding levels, along with a Mandatory Code of Conduct overseen by the ACCC to ensure transparency, fairness and proper funding in the abuse-riddled contracting regime.
APHA and CHA are also calling on the government to provide half of the funding for nurse pay rises in the private sector, which will come into effect from 1 July 2026...
