The new $166 million expansion of Joondalup Health Campus will bring world-class private care to people living in Perth's northern suburbs.
Funded by Ramsay Health Care – which operates the site in a public-private partnership with the Western Australian government – the project is focused on providing clinical excellence, comfort and convenience for patients.
"This expansion reflects years of careful planning and collaboration across the campus," Ramsay Health Care Group CEO Natalie Davis said.
"It's not just about infrastructure. It reflects how Ramsay Health Care approaches care, partnerships and long-term responsibility."

The recently-completed expansion at Joondalup's Ramsay Private includes six state-of-the-art operating suites (including two shared public/private), two day-procedure suites, a day-surgery admissions unit, 30 medical beds, 22 surgical beds, 30 shelled beds for future use, expanded back-of-house facilities, and a private kitchen supporting on-demand á la carte service.
"We are recruiting 150 new employees to support the expansion," Ms Davis said.
The redevelopment is part of a wider investment in the state's healthcare services by Australia's largest private hospitals operator.
Ramsay is building two new operating theatres and two new cardiac catheter laboratories at Hollywood Private Hospital – the largest in the country – and has opened a rapid-access infusion suite at Glengarry Private Hospital to provide chemotherapy for cancer patients.
The Joondalup expansion will initially support growth in orthopaedics, gynaecology, interventional pain, ENT (ear, nose and throat), and general surgery.
"With this expansion comes advanced surgical technology," Ms Davis said.
"At Joondalup, we also now have a da Vinci robot, enabling minimally-invasive prostate cancer surgery locally for the first time, and two new Mako 4 robots, which are among the most advanced orthopaedic robots available.
"This technology will support improved outcomes for both private and public patients, strengthening Ramsay's position as a national leader in orthopaedic, cardiology and cancer care."

With Joondalup's public services also being significantly upgraded by state and federal funding, WA Premier Roger Cook said the site had become one of Australia's largest and most comprehensive health campuses.
"Developments like the private and public expansions this campus has recently undergone naturally attract and retain high-calibre clinicians and medical professionals," he said.
"This improves the standard of care and creates more health and medical research opportunities for the benefit of the region and the entire state."
