Beth Williams has been Business Manager with surgical day hospitals operator PresMed Australia for a year and half.

What's the best part about your job?

Providing guidance, support, and assistance to fellow staff.

What is something about your job that not many people know about, and what would surprise other people about working in a private hospital?

I am the Fire Warden and am responsible for the safe evacuation of all staff. All administration staff are also trained in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).  

What do you love about working in a private hospital?

Helping patients receive premium care without long waiting periods.

What do you like to do outside of work and/or what is something your colleagues don't know about you?

Reading and traveling, but everyone knows this already as I'm always reading and going on holidays.

What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?

"Tomorrow is another day" – Scarlett O'Hara.
